When I first came to him over 10 years ago, I was struggling with a persistent back problem that hadn’t improved despite various treatments.
In just five sessions, I felt 90% better—and since then, his therapy has kept me fit and pain-free.
Thanks to his expert hands and deep understanding of the body, I can continue practising my sport without limitations.
His approach truly goes beyond what conventional methods could offer.
What is Siddha Therapy?
Siddha Therapy is a traditional method from southern India designed to reactivate the body’s natural ability to self-heal and restore its state of balance. By combining medicinal plant-based oils with various manual techniques focused on releasing tension, this approach has a profound effect on chronic pain, muscle discomfort, and mobility issues. Each session is tailored to the individual’s specific needs, identifying energy blockages and areas of overload or inflammation. This not only provides significant pain relief but also helps restore flexibility and vitality. What makes Siddha Therapy unique is its integral approach to health, without relying on medications or invasive procedures. This allows the body to undergo a revitalization process that aligns with its natural rhythm, leading to longer-lasting results and an improved sense of well-being in daily life.
Why is it different from other standard therapies?
Unlike conventional methods (such as traditional medicine, physiotherapy, or sports massages), which often only provide superficial symptom relief, this technique focuses on addressing deep imbalances and restoring the person’s vitality in a more comprehensive way. It primarily involves intense bodywork to release circulatory blockages or restricted movements caused by muscles, nerves, tendons or ligaments. As a result, the effects tend to be longer-lasting and more satisfying for those seeking a real solution to their pain or limitations.
Does the therapy work even if doctors can’t find the cause of the pain?
Yes, I have successfully treated many patients whose doctors couldn’t pinpoint the real issue. If it’s a common serious disease, it’s usually diagnosed through blood tests or imaging. However, many types of discomfort stem from poor circulation and limited mobility. In those cases, doctors often recommend physiotherapy, but most of my patients are people who haven’t found relief through medication or physiotherapy alone.
Over the years, I’ve helped numerous patients reduce or completely avoid the need for medication, including those suffering from vertigo or migraines. I’ve also helped many individuals avoid surgeries for conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, inguinal hernias, elbow bursitis and other sports-related injuries. All of these cases had been properly assessed and tested by surgeons before they came to me for therapy.
I keep going every day thanks to my patients' positive feedback. Hearing 'I feel much better' or 'You’ve completely cured me' makes it all worthwhile"
A 30-Year International Career
I am Jay and I was born in Kerala, India, a region with a millennia-old tradition in body care and balance methods. My family has been dedicated to healing for generations—Myfather mastered ancient martial arts and my grandfather was a renowned expert in traditional therapies. From an early age, I was immersed in this knowledge, developing a natural connection with the art of restoring the body’s balance.
I had the privilege of experiencing a very rare opportunity—I was able to study nearly forgotten techniques from the Siddha tradition, a method passed down through generations in a specific region of southern India, on the border between Tamil Nadu and Kerala. For years, I trained with some of the last living masters of this discipline, combining their wisdom with formal studies and hands-on experience alongside specialists in my country.
After running a wellness center in India, I moved to Switzerland in 2003, where I applied my knowledge in renowned health and wellness centers. I was the lead therapist at Aurum SPA in Villa Sassa, a prestigious luxury spa recognized by Class Magazine as one of the best places in Europe for Indian-origin treatments. For over five years, I refined my own approach, blending ancient teachings with modern principles and a scientific perspective.
With over 22 years of experience in Switzerland and official authorisation from local health authorities since 2013 to practice as a complementary therapist, I have helped many people find relief where conventional medicine has not provided answers. Through my “Ancient Indian Wisdom Treatment,” a natural system designed to reactivate the body’s ability to restore itself, each session releases blockages, improves mobility and provides real, long-lasting relief without relying on medications or invasive procedures.
With a warm, respectful, and fully personalised approach, my goal is to bring the authentic essence of Kerala to those seeking to enhance their quality of life comprehensively and naturally.
Process Details
In your first session, we assess your physical condition to see how much pressure your muscles can handle and how deep the therapy needs to go. We also identify the affected areas and explain exactly what is causing your pain and what results you can expect from the treatment.
Once you understand the procedure and agree to it, we begin the therapy. A typical session lasts around 50 minutes. However, if the discomfort is very localized (for example, in your hands or feet), a 30-minute session may be enough.
If the issue has been going on for a while or involves multiple areas, you will usually feel a significant improvement within 1 to 3 sessions. We adjust the therapy at each step, making sure your body receives proper care without exceeding your comfort or pressure limits.
Throughout my 30 years as a therapist, I’ve come to realize that true healing or significant relief from discomfort depends on three key factors:
1) The therapist’s energy, skill, and commitment.
2) The patient’s positivity, enthusiasm to heal, and trust in the therapist or therapy.
3) A strong desire within the patient to find a solution, leading them to the right person or place at the right time.
If any of these elements is missing, it becomes much harder to achieve genuine healing.

Sucess Story
Once, I treated a patient who had a very unusual problem with his left toe. He had completely lost sensation from the metatarsophalangeal joint capsule downward, leaving the toe hanging loosely and making it impossible to put on socks properly. An orthopedic surgeon diagnosed arthritis and suggested surgery, but I disagreed.
I’d known this patient before, and he’d never shown any signs of arthritis. The issue started suddenly after a seaside holiday and, within two weeks, the toe was bending under his foot whenever he walked. There was no pain, just an obvious lack of function. Despite suspecting it wasn’t arthritis, I had no idea what it could be.
Still, the patient believed I could help. For the first three sessions, nothing changed. But after the fourth session, he finally felt some pain in the toe—ironically a good sign, as it meant sensation was returning. Over the next two months and several more sessions, the toe regained about 90% of its original mobility and years later it remains perfectly functional.
None of us—doctor, patient, or myself—ever discovered the exact cause, and it seemed almost impossible to reverse what appeared to be nerve damage. Yet, I believe his strong faith in the therapy played a key role in his recovery.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the treatment painful?
Working at a deeper level can be essential for effective healing. To remove blockages in the deeper layers of muscles and tendons, adequate pressure is required, which may cause some pain during the treatment and the following day. This discomfort indicates that the body is actively working on the issue that it couldn’t resolve on its own. Once the blockages are cleared and oxygen supply is restored, the body begins to heal itself.
Because of this, the therapy might occasionally feel uncomfortable or even painful, and you could notice some lingering soreness for a day or two, depending on how intense the blockage is. If you find it difficult to tolerate the level of pressure needed to release those blocked areas, we can adapt the approach. However, in such cases, you may need a few more sessions than usual to achieve the same results.
How long does each session last?
Sessions may vary depending on the type of treatment you need, but they normally last 40 or 60 minutes.
How many sessions are needed to notice results?
That depends on the nature of the problem and each individual. If the body is ready to heal, you will feel the results a few days after the treatment. With three sessions, you could experience a significant improvement, with deeper and more lasting changes.
How long do the effects last?
With a good care routine and follow-up, the benefits can last for a long time. Many people choose to schedule maintenance sessions periodically to stay in optimal condition and prevent relapses. Since it is a very intense treatment, it is important to follow the advice after each session to avoid discomfort and get the maximum benefit from the treatment
Do I need any prior preparation?
In general, just wearing comfortable clothing is enough. If there are any special recommendations (such as avoiding heavy meals right before the appointment), you will be informed in advance.
Should I stop other medical or physiotherapy treatments?
No. This method can perfectly complement medical or rehabilitation recommendations. If you are following a specific treatment, let me know so I can take all the information into account and better adapt my approach.
Are there any contraindications or people for whom this technique is not recommended?
Although these are very safe and natural techniques, caution should be taken in cases of severe acute injuries or specific health issues that require urgent medical attention. If you have any doubts, please consult with me beforehand to receive the appropriate guidance.
What type of oils or products are used?
It is a high-end treatment in which blends of medicinal plants native to India are used, selected according to each person's needs. These products aim to activate the body's self-healing ability and promote internal balance in a natural and non-invasive way.
Is it necessary to make changes to my diet or lifestyle?
In some cases, simple adjustments to diet, rest, or daily exercises may be suggested to enhance the results. However, it will depend on your situation and goals; it is not mandatory if it doesn’t fit into your daily life.
